"Without You" is the second single to be released from the number-one album Join with Us by pop/rock band The Feeling.[1] The band recorded the song in their live set each night during their tour of the UK from 7 March 2008 to 20 March 2008—these recordings became available to download at the time of the single's release.[2] The song has been on BBC Radio 2's A-List, meaning it received around 20 plays each week at its peak.[3][4] The song's lyrics concern the Virginia Tech massacre. It is the band's third lowest charting single to date, missing the top 40 altogether, peaking at #53 on the UK Singles chart. The radio edit of the song cuts out the entire second verse.

Ciaran Jeremiah describes the band's roles in the video on the band's official website. He describes himself as a "scientific-space-boffin", while "Paul is a soldier, Richard is a fellow lab-boffin, and Kev is a photographer."
